Welcome to my pitstop!!! My name is Sunder. I consider myself to be an "Average Joe" who loves to go places, make new friends, meet my old friends and party.
I am a Mechanical Engineer by qualification, a Software Engineer by profession, but a Nomad by birth. Never was the whizzkid or the book worm but was just the one who managed to scrape through. But what the heck? The world is still a safe place with me being as is ;-)
For a big guy, I am amazingly active. The sport I really enjoy playing and watching would be Basketball. I always was one of the tall chaps in class and also one of the well built ones (though some of my friends would prefer the word "Stout" more :-). So I took up basketball in school as opposed to Volleyball which would have been the other option. Started playing basketball in school and play even today. Initially played for a local club called Orions in Bangalore, played with some locals at the Four Seasons club in Bloomington, Illinois and now play with a club called CJC (City Jump Club) in Bangalore. I have been a big fan of the NBA. While I was in the US, I was fortunate enough to watch many matches live too.
And hey I do play fairly decent volleyball too and cricket too. That is all the sports I play. Other than this, I also did a lot of biking (bicycling), camping and trekking while in the US.
I have always been fond of going places. At the beginning when I was a student, I did not have the means or the money to pursue my dreams of traveling. Even then I managed some smal trips in Karnataka. Later when I got employed, initially I could not find the time. I later made it a point to make some time in my "always busy work schedule" to do some traveling around Pune, however small it may have been.
I am a person who will not turn down a challenge (a sane one of course ;-) and will not pass the chance to help someone. I am a very very "People's person". I am told that I am a guy with a corny sense of humor, but corny to me equals great ;-)
To sum me up, I am a person of Tamiliam Origin, born in Hyderabad, lived most of my life in Bangalore, some of it in Pune, some more in Nigeria and the US of A, but first and foremost, I am an INDIAN!!!
