Fresh off the Press!!!
Now that I have got your attention, let me tell you my plans in the near future.
As of October 2008, I have been planning for Rider Mania 2009 (RM09) which is slated to be held at Ooty. Well I don't just intend to ride from Bangalore to Ooty to attend it. Instead my friend Deepak and I are hooking up with another rider friend of ours, Nishant Jha whom I met on the Ladakh ride. We intend to do a West Coast ride. We plan to start from Mumbai and ride up to Daman and then ride along the coast all the way to Kanyakumari before ending up at RM09. (Agreed that Vadodara would ideally have been the very beginning of the West Coast, but we planned to cut it short in the interest of time and money)
We have our route figured out and also verified by 2 clubs (RTMC - Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club, Bangalore and Indie Thumpers, Mumbai). We have done our homework on logistics to ship our bikes from Delhi and Bangalore to Mumbai.
We now have 2 months to find and book accomodation, flight tickets etc.
